Post Services Care
Our care doesn't end when the service is over. We offer post-service support and helpful resources to guide you through the days and months ahead, ensuring you have continued assistance whenever you need it.

What is Post-Service Care?
Post Service Care (PSC) is an additional service offered to provide assistance with settling the estate.
Our PSC team will assist you with estate items such as:
- Notifying utility companies
- Applying for the Death Benefit and Survivors Benefit (if applicable)
- Cancelling utilities
- Notifying various provincial and federal offices
Is it necessary to address the administration so soon?
Yes. Many of these details may impact your finances. There is also a concern of identity theft fraud. The notifications and cancellations will help to protect you and your family.
When is the best time to meet?
Our Post Service Care representative will contact the Estate Administrator following the services. If services are delayed, then you may request a meeting prior to the service.
Where do we meet?
Meetings can be held in your home, at our office or by using Conferencing tools such as telephone and/or Zoom.
What happens next?
After our meeting, the agencies noted on your checklist are notified. We are committed to make all notifications within ten business days of our meeting.
Does Tubmans get called by the agencies?
No. The only contact is the Estate Administrator/Next of Kin, as submitted. At no time will an agency contact Tubmans. When applicable, each agency will follow up with you directly.
