To Susan, Peter and Andrew,
Wow, your dad certainly lived a full and long life. Sometimes we thought he’d live forever in this world and I’m sure he was determined to do so as well.
It is quite the realization that we are now the senior generation.
Bless you all as you adjust and I know he will keeping an eye on things for you.
Your long lost friend and member of our naval family,
Barb (Agnew) Narraway

April 14, 2019 7:59 PMWe were saddened to learn of Bill's passing. He was such an interesting man with so much knowledge and wisdom in so many areas. He was a joy to be with, whether it was sailing in Ottawa or Nova Scotia, visiting with the Palmer / Stanley clan or lunching at Brittania YC, you always knew you would come away with some good stories and great memories. We extend the sympathies of the Stanley family in Nova Scotia, BC and Den Haag, Netherlands. Bill was someone who enriched the lives of people he touched. He will be missed. We hope folks enjoy some of the photos we have posted.

April 14, 2019 9:04 AMTo all the Christie’s and their extended families I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences on the passing of Bill. Growing up next to you and him I remember Bill as a quiet and humble man, despite his many accomplishments. He was always gracious with me. May you find comfort in the long life he lived and the many memories you have built. John and family
