We sadly announce that Terry Michael Bosy, age 61, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the Ottawa General Hospital in the loving presence of his wife, close family and friends.

Terry fought his battle with cancer the same way he lived his life, with strength, courage and dignity. His bright light, warm heart and positive attitude was felt by all. He embraced life to the fullest along with new challenges until the very end.

Terry is survived by his dear wife Cynthia. Beloved son of Lillian and the late Michael Bosy. Dear twin brother of Chris (Laura) and brother to Susan (Mark Vienneau), Laura, Diane (Mike Stricker). Dear son-in-law of Mary and the late Art Van Dyk and brother-in-law of Larry, Brian and Kim Van Dyk. Proud uncle to Josh and Jules Stricker, Justin and Kayla Van Dyk, Rebecca and Mike Ryan, Alexandrea, Kylie, Haleigh and Landon Van Dyk. Special godfather to Lacey (Adam Abernathy).

Many thanks for all the love and support from family and friends and a special thank you to Dr Hansen and her team at the Ottawa General Hospital. Each of you have a special place in Terry’s heart.

Friends and family are welcome to visit the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean on Friday, August 30, 2019 from 12:30 p.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Reception to follow in the Garden Chapel Reception Centre. For those who wish, please consider a memorial donation in Terry’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
