Nagle, Shirley Olive

1932-2021

Passed away peacefully at the Riverpark Retirement Residence on Friday, September 24, 2021 at the age of 89.  Predeceased by her loving partner Charles Clark and her parents Mary and Robert Walsh.  Loving mother of the late Bill (Regina) Nagle.  Cherished grandmother of Kevin Mann (Clarissa Crane), Tyler Nagle (Rachel Dietrick) and Amber Nagle (Michael MacLean).  Proud great-grandmother of Nolan, Chase, Braden, Emery, Kieran, Avery and Briar.  Shirley will be missed and fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

One of seven brothers and sisters, Shirley was born and raised in Toronto.  She moved to Ottawa with her son Bill to work as an administrator at a local patent firm.  Always active, Shirley enjoyed tennis, bowling, and golf, often travelling with her beloved Charles to South Carolina in the winters.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Riverpark Retirement Residence and Shirley’s neighbours for the care they gave Shirley in her final days.  For those wishing, donations may be made to any local foodbank or the Canadian Cancer Society.
