After a lengthy battle surrounded by family on Sunday, July 11, 2021.  Beloved husband of Janice (nee Mayhew).  Loving father of Rick Jr., Natalie, and Lesley-Ann (Darrik Gleason).  Proud grandfather of Hailey and Peyton.  He will be missed by his little buddy Finnigan.  He will be remembered by many family and friends.  Rick retired after 35 years as a radiation safety officer with MDS Nordion.  In his retirement, Rick followed his dream and got his transport truck license.  His great sense of humour will be missed by all.  A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 18 at 11 am at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd., Nepean.  Due to COVID restrictions, you must register your attendance at www.tubmanfuneralhomes.com or by calling 613-722-6559.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Humane Society would be appreciated.
