With heavy hearts, we must announce that we unfortunately lost John Michael (Mike) Fleming who passed away peacefully at home after a lengthy struggle with illness, surrounded by family, on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021. Mike was born in Toronto, ON on January 23, 1947 to John and Roma Fleming.

He was married in August, 1974 to Connie (Maracle). In 1985 their pride and joy, John, was born. Mike loved to take John camping, watching animals and fishing as well as hunting with friends. In later years his daughter-in-law Morgan, grandson Jack and granddaughter, Harper Quinn brought tremendous joy and pride to his life. Mike is the eldest sibling of his sisters Patricia (Pat) Kilby and Karen Kasper and brother Ken Fleming. Over the past 47 plus years of marriage he grew to love and be loved by many in-laws, nephews, nieces and friends.

A memorial service will be held at the Kars Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 1610 Roger Stevens Dr., Kars on Sunday, November 14th at 11:30 a.m. To attend the service, proof of double vaccination and pre-registration is mandatory.
