DESLAURIERS, Maureen Estelle Agnes (née Waugh)

September 8, 1930 – October 4, 2021

Born in Montréal Québec, Maureen died peacefully in hospital at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Deslauriers and dear mother to Vincent Waugh (Lise Couvrette-Waugh). Step mother to Gary Deslauriers (Roxane), Patricia Mouchet (Tom) and the late Daniel and Joanne Deslauriers. Proud grandma to Kaitlyn, Olivia, Lillie-Anne, Melanie, A.J., Nicholas and Paula and of her 9 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her half-brothers Gregory Waugh (Alana) and Eric Waugh (Terri). Predeceased by her loving parents, Gerald Waugh and Lillian Kearns and her brother, Gerry Waugh.

Maureen was an avid hockey fan, especially for her Habs, and attended many of their games at the old Montreal Forum when she still lived in Montreal. Bowling was another of her passions and she had an opportunity to make some great friends at the Hampton Park bowling lanes over the course of many years. Later in life, she and Art bought a trailer and looked forward to their weekends and summers at the campground where they played cards and darts, enjoying lots of laughs and a few beers with some wonderful friends.

A private memorial service will be held by invitation only and, in lieu of flowers, donations in her name to your local Food Bank are appreciated.
