Ruest, Mary Elizabeth (nee Lazenby)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Elizabeth Ruest (nee Lazenby) in the early morning of Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at the May Court Hospice.
Born on November 1, 1938 to John and Teresa (nee Stackpole) Lazenby in Hawkesbury, Ontario. Predeceased by her Brother Arnold (Margueritte Paquette), she joins her beloved husband of 57 years, Edmond Arthur Ruest, who passed away in July of this year.
Loving Mother to John (Becky), Cindy (Chris), and Paul (Johanne). Proud Nanny to Andrew, Jordan, Matthew, Eric, Nick, Jake & Samantha. Great Nanny to Melody.
The Family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Chris Johnson and the University of Ottawa Heart Institute for their exceptional care of our Mom. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her memory to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
