Peacefully at home with family by his side, on Friday, March 4, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Marlene (McRae). 
Loving father of Jeffrey (Jenny), Richard (Lori), Jane Blanchette (Danny), Linda Dumoulin (Rene) and Albert.  Proud grandpa of 10 grandchildren and GG to 11 great-grandchildren.  Dear brother to Helen Mills (late John), Joan Garland (late Bruce), Betty Birtch (Robert) and the late Norma Montagano (late Earl). Brother-in-law to Babe McRae (Donna) and the late J.A. McRae (late Maryann). 

 The family of the late John Dawson invite friends and neighbours to join them at A Celebration of Life reception which has been rescheduled to June 2, 2022 at the Richmond Legion, 6430 Ottawa Street, Richmond, ON from 11:30 to 2:00.
