Keyworth, Jeanette Mary C.P.P. “Jean”
Born in Enfield, Co. Meath, Ireland February 20, 1956
Died, Arnprior, Ontario January 12, 2023
Passed away peacefully in hospital with David by her side on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at the age of 66 years.
Beloved wife and soulmate for 45 years to David Keyworth. Beloved daughter of the late Edward (Farmer) and Anne (Nancy) Daly. Survived by her siblings John, Michael, Dympna, Maria, Anne, Florence, and predeceased by her twin brother Edward (Eamon). Also survived by her aunt Marie, and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and their families resident throughout Ireland, the UK, and the USA.
Jean was incredibly brave, facing many health challenges throughout her life, always saying that others faced much worse. She had two professional careers, once as a nurse, and then as a procurement agent. She loved dancing, music, Winnie the Pooh and Christmas.
Many thanks to the healthcare professionals who attended her needs during the past 3 months, including the West Carleton Family Health Team, Arnprior Hospital, General Hospital, SE Health, Champlain Home and Community Care Support Services, and the Paramedics.
Many thanks also to family, friends, and neighbours, with whom she could chat with either digitally or in person. Also Michael, Orla, Laura, and Dympna who made the long, long journeys from Ireland/UK to see her. These conversations meant so much to her.
Friends and acquaintances are invited to a service at the Carp Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 115 Rivington Street, Carp on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 11 a.m. Family and friends unable to attend in person will be able to view the service via webcast.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in Jean’s memory to the Wilson’s Disease Association (NA) or the equivalent in Ireland and the UK.
