Knox, Herbert “Herb”

34 years at Foreign Affairs

Passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at the age of 77. Loving husband of Anne Marie Knox. Cherished father of Carsten Knox. Brother of Ken Knox (Shirley), Ola Armstrong (the late Wallace Armstrong), Keith Knox (Jacqueline), the late Lila Leafloor (the late Tom), Wenda Reid (the late Mike). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Herb’s career with foreign affairs took him to places such as Denmark, Thailand, Finland, South Korea, South Africa, Iraq, Israel, England, Sweden and the United States. Herb was a keen sportsman, he loved hockey, softball, and golf. He was a long-time member of the Mississippi Golf Club. Due to the current COVID19 pandemic a visitation or funeral service will not be held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Care Ottawa- Ruddy Shenkman Hospice.
