With sadness, the family announces that Harry passed away at Longfields Manor with loved ones by his side on Monday, November 8, 2021 at the age of 90. Loving husband of the late Cecile Huard by first marriage and the late Helen VanEllenberg by second marriage. Loving father of Mary (Joe) Dullemond, Wilfred, Bill (Ann), John (Joanne), Stewart, Lydia (Mike) Menard, Andrew (Jess), Daniel, Ken (Christina), Dwayne and Sharon Vanderhooft. Proud Opa, Grandpa, Great-Grandpa to his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Lewis (Carol) Triemstra. Predeceased by siblings Tietje, John, Grace, Bert, Maria, Bill and Mark. Harry will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A memorial visitation will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, (between Bayshore and Baseline Road) on Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 1 to 4 p.m. To attend the visitation, visitors will have to provide proof of vaccination accompanied by government issued photo ID. Pre-registration is mandatory and may be made at www.tubmanfuneralhomes.com or by calling 613-722-6559. A memorial service will be held at Calvin Christian Reformed Church on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 11 a.m. Due to the current COVID restrictions there is only space for 40 guests to join the Triemstra family for the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ottawa Christian School.
