Gregory Gunnlaugson

Greg Gunnlaugson of Ottawa, Ontario passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the age of 76 after a lengthy illness.
Devoted husband for 55 years to his best friend Elyse (Fuller). Greg was the proud father to Tracy, Taryn (Dean), Sally & Celina as well as numerous foster children. Loving grandfather to Cameron(Shanal) Kassi, Lexie(Spencer), Haley, Nathan, Denim, Dane, Sydney & Cadence. Great Grandad to Lucien & Leo.
He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews and extended family.
He is survived by his sisters Ann (Don), Linda (Steve) & brother Wayne. Predeceased by his parents Frank & Ruth and brothers Kris & Allen.
Greg was incredibly proud of his family and his extensive career with RCMP and CSIS spanning over 35 years.
Greg will always be remembered for his kindness, compassion & quick wit. He loved camping, nature and woodworking.
Visitation will take place on Saturday September 24th from 4:00 to 7:00 at Tubman Funeral home 403 Richmond Rd Ottawa.
In lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to the Ottawa Hospital or the Royal Canadian Legion Westboro Branch.
