1927 – 2019

Peacefully in Ottawa, Ontario on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy R. Steele (born in Quyon).  Younger son of the late George and Della Sadler.  Predeceased by his sister Mae Belford and by brothers Earle, George, Fred, and Jack. Dearest uncle to many nieces and nephews. Godfather to Susan Stuckey Morency and Jane Sadler Richards. Friends may pay their respects at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore and Baseline Rd), on Monday, December 2, 2019 from 11 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 12:30 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment at St. George’s Anglican Cemetery, Fitzroy Harbour at 3 p.m. If desired, donations may be made in Gerald’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to St. George’s Cemetery.
