Walsh, Francis “Frank” Murray Retired Military

Passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Friday, July 29, 2022 at the age of 90. Beloved husband to Inge for 40 years. Loving father of Faye, stepfather to Michael (Blanche), Patty (Yves) and Angela (Stanley). Special Grandpa to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Frank is predeceased by his son Michael, grandson Chris and by eight brothers and sisters.

Frank served in the military and his last posting was at the Diefenbunker. After retirement, he continued to work in the food industry where he opened a catering business and he ran the cafeteria at the Carp Airport. He also volunteered for the Carp Fair for many years.

Friends may pay respects at the Carp Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 115 Rivington Street, Carp on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 9 to 11 a.m. A Private Family Service will follow in the Chapel.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital and staff at Carp Commons retirement home. For those who wish, please consider a memorial donation in Frank’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the West Carleton Food Access Centre.
