Elinor Mary Viola Turner (nee Murray)

Monday February 24, 2020 at the Civic Hospital at the age of 80 years old, Elinor left us to join her late husband Joe of 55 years. Elinor is predeceased by Joseph Turner, mother of Michel Lebrun (Denise), Stephen Turner (Dalia Bortolotti), Bill Turner (Penny Allan) and Sheila (David Olivieri), predeceased by Jeffery Raymond Turner. Proud Grandmother to Marie- Eve Lebrun, Jean-Michel (Shawna Adler), Jessica (Tedd Clark), Rebecca Turner, Samantha Billings-Turner, Veronica Olivieri and Marcus Olivieri, and GG to Ruby, Jaxson, Leondray and Jo elle. Survived by sister, Patsy Sarazin and brother Frank Murray. Elinor loved spending her time at Bikini Base (Lac Serpent) with Joe and family. Elinor worked with the RCMP, Auditor Generals office and the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police. A special thank you to the friends she made at the Valley Stream Retirement Home, the time she spent there was memorable, the care provided, and friendships made were amazing. Also, a heart felt thank you to the amazing team at the Ottawa Civic Hospital ER department. Your compassion and care will forever be in my heart.

Friends may visit at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Baseline and Bayshore Drive), Ottawa on Tuesday March 3, 2020 from 10 a.m. until time of memorial service in the chapel at 11 a.m., reception to follow.
