Clarke, Donald Ross

On January 9th, Donald (Ross) Clarke, passed away peacefully at the age of 83 at the Queensway Carleton Hospital with his wife and cousin by his side.  Ross was a loving and caring husband to his wife Ingrid who have known each other since childhood.  Ross is the son of the late Colin Clarke and Anne Beattie.  Ross worked for Imperial Oil in property development, which took him to locations throughout Canada.   Upon retirement, he and his wife opened The Antique Shoppe in North Gower, where together they had many happy years travelling together collecting antiques.  Ross will be fondly remembered by his cousin Brian Merkley and their excursions around the countryside working on their genealogy trips.  A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
