January 13, 2021 8:18 PMA prayer for Connie,
May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warmth upon your face.
May the rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
With love, Donna, John and family

January 13, 2021 8:01 PMDear mom,
I remember Connie's sense of pride and joy in many of her conversations. Connie had a wide variety of interests.
I remember she loved cooking, crafts and houseplants. Her coleslaw was special and my favorite. She made deviled eggs at every holiday gathering. Connie loved baking cookies and that is what I will miss.
Her needlepoint pictures were lovely scenes of nature and animal pictures of deer.
She loved to play cards and the game of solitaire. She enjoyed jokes and going out to dinner on special occasions and birthdays.
I remember her love of her houseplants. She enjoyed orchids and her Christmas cactus.
I will miss her in many different ways.
I love you dearly, think of you often, you are much appreciated and missed every day.

January 13, 2021 7:43 PMDear Mom,
One of my all time favorite memories was at Christmas when the turkey dinner was finished and it was time for the desert and everyone would be asking ourselves if you had made the ice box cake again. The answer was of course yes and we would anticipate the whipped cream on top, it always was a highlight of the day and I will remember it always.
It was delicious and made the day that much more special.
Thanks for the great memories.
