William Forward passed away unexpectedly Friday, August 26 on his family farm. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Jayne (Karau) Forward. He is the youngest son of the late James and Edith Forward; proud father of Allison Staples (Dennis) and Andrew Forward (Ayana); cherished grandfather of Colton, Clark, Cain, Hayden and August; loyal brother-in-law of Margaret and Colette Forward; predeceased by brothers Michael and Douglas Forward. Bill is also lovingly remembered by Jayne’s siblings Judy Stephenson (Tom), John Karau (Merelie), Jeffrey Karau (Joanne); fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews Jennifer Forward (Stephen), Sheila Forward (Shann), Michael Forward Jr. (Sarah), Jon Stephenson (Lesley), Jennifer Stott (Cam), Holden Karau (Carolyn), Colin and Spencer Karau.  Bill’s tractors will miss him too.

We will celebrate and remember Bill's life at a visitation at the Kars Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 1610 Roger Stevens Dr., Kars on Thursday, September 8th from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m.  A memorial service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 2372 Church St., North Gower on Friday, September 9th at 1:30 p.m.
