It is with broken hearts that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of William Scott Craig on October 20, 2026, in his 66th year.
Retired from Atomic Energy (AECL), Scott lived life with a song in his heart and a pencil in his hand.
He was the treasured son of the late William (Bill) Craig and June Craig, devoted father of Amanda and Mitchell, beloved brother of Jill (Denis) and Kathi (Sheldon), cherished lifelong friend to Jeff Adams, Jeff Frost, Chris Coupe, and so many others who had the privilege of calling him friend, a loved cousin, and nephew by many within his family.
Scott leaves behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, friendship, and love. He will be deeply missed by everyone whose life he touched.
Family and friends are invited to attend an intimate burial service on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., at St. Paul's United Church Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life will follow at the Richmond Legion, where we will gather to share stories, memories, and celebrate Scott's life.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dystonia Foundation (DMRF) or the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be greatly appreciated.
Forever loved. Forever remembered. Never forgotten. ❤️
