Peacefully on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the age of 84 years. Beloved husband of Betty (nee Watson). Loving father of Liz, Mike (Rayanne), and Chris (Barbara Jensen). Proud grandfather of Liam, Moira, Malcolm, Lauren and Kate. Predeceased by his sister Joan Annis (William). He will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. He was a dedicated teacher, guidance counsellor, trustee, and coach. He was also an avid golfer, loved curling at the Navy Club, and was a proud alumni of the Carleton Ravens basketball team. Friends and family may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Home, 403 Richmond Rd., Ottawa on Thursday, March 15th from 1-3 pm and 6-8 pm. A private family service will be held at Pinecrest Cemetery at 11 am on Friday, March 16th. A special thank you to the kind and caring staff at St Patrick's home.
