Peacefully at Forest Hill Nursing Home on Friday, June 29, 2018 age 78 years. Dear father of Kevin (Lindy) and Lesley Ovens (Kevin Scott). Loving grandfather of Jenna King (Dan), Jason Martel, Nicholas and Travis Ovens, and Sarah Ovens. Great grandfather of Aubrey and Austin King. Cherished son of Jessie Ovens (the late Wilmer). Brother of Donna McCallum (George Kaine) and Ron (late Maureen). Predeceased by his daughter Debbie Martel and son David Ovens. Friends may attend a visitation at the Kars Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 1610 Roger Stevens Dr. K ars, ON on Wednesday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. Those wishing may make memorial donations to Cystic Fibrosis or Canadian Cancer Society.
