Peacefully at Central West Hospice on Sunday, May 4, 2014. Beloved husband, travel partner and best friend of Judy (nee Large). Proud father of Matthew (Kristen) and Gregory. Adoring grandfather of Emily. He will also be missed by his sisters; Edna Steffens of Sunnyside, Washington and Sophia Franklin of Kalispell, Montana; sister-in-law Janet Reymond of Toronto, his niece, nephews and his feline companions Athena and Penny. A visitation will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.) on Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 2 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Ottawa Humane Society would be appreciated.
