Verna was an intelligent, truly kind, and humble woman who treated everyone with respect. She was always grateful for the smallest acts of kindness. She maintained a wonderful sense of humour to the end and loved to laugh, including at herself. We were crazy about her for all of our lives and are fortunate to have spent so much time with such a wonderful, dear human being.
