Tracy Lynn Harrington

Peacefully in hospital, on Thursday, January 1, 2026 in her 66th year with Shaun and Sue by her side. Cherished sister of Carol Melchior (late Lou), Richard (Cheri), Shaun (Sue) and Kelly/Karen (Al Wallace). Predeceased by her parents Gord and Irene Harrington and brothers Keith, Skip and Lee. Tracy is lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews and her cherished friends.

Tracy was an athlete most of her life and was an avid fan of hockey and loved to play ball. Her favorite thing to do was to put on a helmet and ride. To have the wind in her face she felt free, and life was good. Any chance to fish she was always ready to go. She loved her animals and always wanted to rescue more. Tracy was the best sister and always ended the conversations with “love you much, I’ll see you soon” She was a fighter all her life and tried to live each day the best she could despite her pain. She will be missed by many. We will never forget her smile, her wit and her love. Forever in our hearts.

Thanks to the many doctors and nurses at the Kemptville District Hospital and Ottawa Hospital (Civic Campus) for their wonderful care.

Celebration of Life will take place in the spring. For those who wish, donations can be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
