Thora Jane Willard (Vivian)

Passed away peacefully on August 20, 2023, at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital, Ottawa, at the age of 97. Predeceased by her beloved husband Mel, who passed away August 1, 2014. Survived by daughters Wendy (Norm Cormier) of Moncton and Pam (Doug Starnaman) of Ottawa, grandchildren Rob, Erin, Colleen and Ryan, nine great-grandchildren Kate, Trent, Garret, Avery, Lauren, Jason, Melanie, Maddie and Darcie and one great-great-grandchild Jaxson. At Thora's request, a private family service was held. Our deepest gratitude to the dedicated staff of Valley Stream Retirement Residence, the Queensway-Carleton Hospital, LHIN and CCAC. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Diabetes Canada, the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
