Thomas Scott Murray

It is with great sadness that the family of Thomas Scott Murray announces his passing on August 14, 2026, at the age of 73. 

Scott passed surrounded by family, meeting his final days with the same courage that defined how he lived. Scott is survived by his children, Erin (Jeff), Alex (Lindsay), and Todd (Christine), and by his partner, Sue. He will also be lovingly remembered by his many grandchildren, by Joanne, and by his siblings, Leigh and Lynne. 

Scott built a career he was proud of, but it was time at the cottage, good food, and the company of the people he loved that mattered most to him. 

Rather than a traditional service, Scott chose to be celebrated in the fall, his favorite season, with a Celebration of Life among close friends and family. Fittingly, he planned the entire menu himself, wine included.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Scott's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society  

Please raise a glass in Scott's memory, and, as he would insist, don't engage in any bullshitery.
