Banyard, Thomas Harvey

Thomas Harvey Banyard, 77, of Ottawa, Ontario, passed away on October 20, 2022 from cancer.  He is survived by his wife Elaine, son Jamie (Christine), his grandson Nick (Melissa), his brother Jimmy (Shirley), and sister Anne, as well as nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his first wife June (2019) and youngest son Brent (2016) (Misty).

Tom started out in Hamilton Ontario and joined the Canadian Forces as a teenager.   He enjoyed living on both coasts and seeing the World flying on Auroras and Sea King helicopters.  After retiring from the Forces, Tom settled in Ottawa and joined General Dynamics where he had a second successful career and made many new friends.

No services will take place, as Tom requested. Donations can be sent to Ruddy Shenkman Hospice in Kanata, ON or the Canadian Cancer Society.
