Sylvia Ruth Kuhnle

Sy passed away peacefully in hospital on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Leonard Kuhnle. Loving mother of Dave (Noella) Kuhnle, Judy (Mark) McKenna, Joanne (Guy) Hubbard and Terry (Dave) Allan. Proud grandmother of Rob, Steve, Kevin, Christian, Joshua, Diana, Kyle, Krista, Derek, Zachary and great-grandmother of Xander, Abbie, Anakin, Addison, Lukas, Josie, Sofia, Nina, May, Ray, Nathan, Lauren, Kenneth, Zachary, Valerie, Luke, Alice, Jade. Predeceased by brothers Earl and Bob and sisters Liz and Carolyn.

A mother of four and grandmother to everyone else, Sy was a source of constant love and warmth to all who knew her and will be terribly missed. The only thing Sy loved more than being at the cottage (Kumanrufit) was her family. Her kind spirit and heart made her special to everyone she met.

Respecting Sy's wishes, no formal services are planned. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sy's honour to Quickstart, an autism early detection program.
