Suddenly, on June 19, 2022, at age 53. Loving husband and best friend to Janet Tovell (nee Lauer). Adored father of Caleb Jackson and Olivia Christine Tovell. Beloved son of Jane Tovell (nee Honey) and the late Stan Tovell. Cherished brother of Cheryl Anich (Peter). Dear son-in-law of Bruce and Vivian Lauer, and brother-in-law of Susan Simard (Marc), Karen Lauer and David Lauer (Carolyn Allen). Loving uncle to Craig, Amanda (Zack), Maegan (Jeff), Zack, Ella and Victoria, and great-uncle to Tegan, Tripp, Tate and Logan. Forever in our hearts.

Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes. 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore and Baseline Road) on Friday, June 24 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 11 to 12:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 1 p.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the CHEO Foundation or the Educational Foundation of Ottawa would be greatly appreciated.
