Stephen Brian Cole

Suddenly at home on Saturday, August 22, 2026, age 71. Beloved husband of Deborah (née MacAulay). Cherished father of Ryan (Lisa). Loving grandfather of Freya. Dear brother of Jeff (Bev), Terry (Tracy) and Nancy Frame (Rod). He will also be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Steve was an athlete, he was a person in motion, a doer. He played hockey as a child and as an adult, lastly with the Osgoode Kamikazes for over 20 years. In summer he organized golf for the Kamis and their wives, he loved to organize and get things going. He was an excellent golfer, had a passion for the game and respect for its history. Trips to St Andrews and Augusta were dreams that he made come true. Being married to Deb meant animals entered his life in a big way, including horses. He recently started volunteering at TRotts, a therapentic equine therapy program for disabled children. He had the biggest heart and shared his love of life with all.

Friends and family may attend a visitation at the Kars Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 1610 Roger Stevens Dr., Kars on Wednesday from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 pm Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11 am. Reception to follow at the Osgoode Legion - 3284 Sunstrum St, Osgoode, ON K0A 2W0
