Stéphane Patrick Vermette

He is lovingly remembered by his wife Kelly Webster; parents Claude and Denise Vermette; sons Samuel, Jeremy and Timothy; stepdaughter Faith Webster; mother-in-law and father-in-law Winona and Bernie Duffen; brother Denis (Heidi); and countless family members, co-workers from over the years and close friends.

Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Steph knew he was truly one of a kind. Truly.  He had a deep passion for music, photography, amateur radio and all things technological. His courage and strength, particularly over the last few months, was a testament to his faith and love of life.  He allowed us to share in his journey to the end by channeling his incredible intelligence and dry wit into his blog My Life Forward.   Now, sadly, life goes on with one less amazing soul, but his memory must stay vibrant in our hearts.

A heartfelt thanks to The Rideau Palliative Group (Drs. Zakhem, Burns and Tuck) for their ongoing support during this trying time.  Also a special thanks to nurse Amanda for her care and compassion.  Your efforts helped make an incredibly difficult time more manageable and your kindness will not be forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Road) on Friday, February 23, 2024, from 6-8 p.m.  A celebration of life will take place in the chapel on Saturday, February 24th at 1 p.m. Reception to follow.

 In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Living Waters Christian Assembly or perform an act of kindness in Stéphane's honour.
