Sheila Gertrude Donahue

Sheila Donahue, 71, of Ottawa, Ontario, passed away on December 13, 2025, surrounded by family.

Daughter of the late Rita ( Best) and John Donahue. Stepdaughter of the late Lorne Francis MacDonald.

She was preceded in death by her beloved partner, Gordon MacDonald. She leaves behind siblings Barbara Gagne (Rick), Colleen Donahue (Jeff Campbell), and Jackie Schultz (Garry), Wayne MacDonald ( Wanda), son TJ Wright (Marissa), granddaughter Elise Wright, multiple nieces and nephews, and very dear friend Helen Flaherty.

Sheila was a longtime resident of Ottawa, and worked for the city and the British High Commission. During her life, she enjoyed socializing, and camping with Gord and their dog Izzy.

The family will celebrate her life in early spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
