It is with deep sadness that the family of Seymour Thomas Kell announces his peaceful passing on March 10, 2026, in Ottawa, ON. Born in 1955, Seymour lived a life defined by dedication, hard work, and an unwavering love for his family and community. He is mourned by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Above all, Seymour was a devoted family man. He is survived by his beloved wife, Grace, his steadfast partner through his life and his dear friend, David Glastonbury. He is also survived by his son, David (Sandra) Kell and his daughter, Sheena (Matt) Sherwood. Seymour’s greatest joy was found in his six grandchildren – Sean, Samuel, Cameron, Juliette, Lexie, and Margaret – who will carry his memory forward with love. He is also survived by his siblings, Wendy (Kenneth) Noble, Fran (Larry) Maurino, Cheryl (Drew) Robinson, and Robin (Nancy) Kell, along with many loved nieces and nephews. Seymour was predeceased by his parents (Frank and Jean) and his siblings, Kevin (Brenda) Kell, and Beverely (John) Gorecki.
Following over thirty years of devoted service to Canada Post, he embarked on a second chapter in his career in real estate with Royal LePage Team reality, bringing dedication and integrity to helping families find their homes. He continued in real estate until his retirement.
