Samuel Bakewell

Samuel Bakewell, 80, passed away on March 16, 2022, after a short valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. He will be forever missed by his wife, Sheryl, of 53 years; and his children Stacey Tzavelas (George), Michael Bakewell (Amanda), and Scott Hewetson (Lisa). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Amber (Joseph), Scott Jr. (Katie), Matthew, Ellena and Gabriella; as well as his six great-grandchildren. Retiring only months ago, Sam enjoyed a prominent career in his business as a financial management consultant in the hospital and long term care field. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice in Kanata would be greatly appreciated.
