January 21, 1950 — May 21, 2014
Peacefully in hospital on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the age of 64 years. Beloved husband of Lilian Hayes. Loving father of Barry, Jamie (Kate), and Jennifer. Proud grandfather of Marissa, Josh, Bailey and Gillian. Sammy was the strong silent type who was very loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of Sam's life will be held at the Prescott Tavern on Thursday, May 29th from 7-9 pm. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
