Ronald (Ron) Stewart Davies

With heavy hearts we announce Ron’s sudden passing just days before his 96th birthday. Ron worked as an Actuary in the insurance industry, eventually developing his own consulting business. After many years he sold that business to a larger firm where he remained as a senior executive until his retirement. He is predeceased by his sister Bernice, brother Ken and wife Jean. He considered himself blessed to have a second wonderful marriage to Joan for over 23 years. He was the loving father, grandfather and great grandfather to his large extended family, Ron was a lifelong avid golfer (until age 93), a sailor, a skier and a world traveller. People who met Ron always had kind things to say about him. He was valued as a mentor, coworker, customer and friend, and was a generous contributor to charitable organizations. He will be forever missed by all who knew him.
