Ronald Newell

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ronald Newell, surrounded by his children, on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at the age of 82. Beloved husband of the late Sylvia (née Berezowski) and loving father of Michael (Sofie) and Kari Saumur (Gilles). Cherished grandfather of Alex (Kayleigh Fisher), Renée, Nicholas, Elise, and Samuel. Predeceased by his siblings Harry, Francis, Betty, John and Jocelyn, and he will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Home, 3440 Richmond Rd., Nepean, on Saturday January 7, 2023 from 1 PM to 2 PM immediately followed by a service in the chapel at 2 PM. At the family’s request, please wear a mask. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
