Ronold Biscope

It is with deep sorrow and sadness that I must announce the passing of my son, Ronold Earl Thomas Biscope at the Montfort Hospital in Ottawa on Monday, October 9, 2023. Ron was a long-time resident of Petawawa and Pembroke and attended Fellowes and Champlain High Schools, graduating in 1991.

 

Ron was born on December 1, 1973, in North Bay, Ontario. He was the adored son of Sandra Bray (nee Burnside) of Ottawa, of the late WO Ronold L.J. Biscope, RCASC (deceased 1981) of Ottawa and his step-father MWO Wilson William “Bill” Bray, CD1, Royal Canadian Military Engineers (deceased 2020).

 

His greatest joy was becoming a father to the daughter he leaves behind, Izabel Biscope, and his step-children, Selyna Colbear, the late Robbie Colbear (deceased 2018) and Nicholas Colbear.

 

He will be greatly missed by his sister and super-friend forever, Jennifer Biscope (Tammy Bleichert-Desjardins, super-friend2), sister & brother-in-law, Rhonda & Charles Lepine, their children Danielle, Nic (Kyra Jansen) & Chris, his life-long best-friend Jason Barnard along with many friends and extended family.

 

Memorial services will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023, at Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Ottawa, Ontario (between Bayshore and Baseline Road) from 2-4 p.m. Light refreshments will be served and the family will receive guests during this time.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that those who desire make a donation to their local food bank or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
