Bob Corby

Peacefully on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at age 94. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Colleen Corby (nee Hill) for over 62 wonderful years together. Cherished father of Rob (Anne), Greg (Pauline) and Jon Guy (Catherine). Loving grandfather of Sean, Sarah (Dan) and Samantha. Adored brother of Gary and the late Dorothy. Dear brother-in-law of Mike (Juanita) and predeceased by Barbara (Larry) and Sandra (Paul). Predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Beatrice Corby. Treasured uncle of Karen, Doug, Wade, Mark, Sable, Scott and Manon. Bob will be remembered and missed by his large community of friends in the Toronto, Nepean and rural Ottawa areas.

Bob grew up in Toronto and was a proud member of the Balmy Beach Club. He was an Insurance Claims Adjuster which brought his family to Ottawa. Bob enjoyed all sports, an avid outdoorsmen and was a member of the Mississippi Golf Club. He coached various levels of Nepean Hockey and encouraged his sons and grandchildren to participate in a variety of sports. Dad became “Papa” and was the first to be in attendance at all of their games. Bob was a devoted Toronto Blue Jays and Montreal Expos fan. He will be remembered for his quick wit and as a dedicated husband who cherished the love he had with Colleen.

A celebration of life will be held at Cedarhill Golf & Country Club on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Those wishing may make memorial donations to the Boys and Girls Club.
