Rita Ida LeBlanc

Passed away peacefully on February 5th, 2026, at the age of 101. Predeceased by her parents Paul and Agnes Parent, her siblings, Loretta, Shirley and Mike and her husband Rene LeBlanc. Survived by her sons Van LeBlanc, his wife Lyn and daughter Hannah and Jack Fourier and his wife Juanita, as well as many nieces and nephews. Rita lived life on her own terms, but always with gratitude for whatever came her way. She loved her family dearly and always cherished a phone call from her boys.

Rita had a way to make you laugh even on your worst day. She will be missed by her family and friends. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at the Granite Ridge Community for taking such good care of Rita over the last 5 years. There will be a private service held at a later date. Donations in memory of Rita can be made to the Almonte General Hospital.
