Rémy Somenzi

He passed away peacefully at the Civic Hospital on Monday, April 13, 2026, at the age of 79. He was surrounded in his last days by loving and caring family, friends and hospital staff. Cherished husband of Elaine, aka “Hon” (Richardson). Beloved father of Allison, aka “here comes trouble”. Loving brother of Richard Somenzi (Nancy). Also survived by his best friend of 60 years and brother- in- law Murray Richardson (Heather), brother-in-law Glenn Richardson and sister-in-law Louise Molinelli (Peter). He was a loving uncle and wonderful friend to so many. In turn, he was greatly loved and cherished, will be remembered and missed by many.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service at the Kars Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 1610 Roger Stevens Drive, Kars, on Wednesday, May 6th at 1 pm. A reception will follow.
