FLYNN, Veronica Phyllis

20 January 1935 – 18 March 2022

It is with profound sadness that we announce Phyllis passed away on Friday, March 18th at home.  Born in Sydney, NS, Phyllis, and her husband Melvin moved first to Kingston and then settled in Ottawa.’

Leaving to mourn her loss are son Bradly, wife Giselle and her beloved granddaughter Riley; her sister Sheliah Munroe (the late John “Jook” Munroe) and family and Geraldine Alger, her husband Jim, and their family.  Also, her friend of close to fifty years and whose friendship meant everything to her, Glenda Emery-Squitti, husband Joseph and their family.  As well as her friends on the 11th floor of where she lived – know that your help, especially in the last few years was greatly appreciated by her and us. Loving aunt to several nieces and nephews in Ontario and Nova Scotia. Predeceased by numerous brothers and sisters and her husband Melvin.

Funeral service will be at Tubman Funeral Home – Garden Chapel, 3440 Richmond Rd, Nepean on Saturday, March 26th at 11am with reception to follow.  In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.  Tributes, condolences, and donations may be made at www.tubmanfuneralhomes.com
