The family of Phyllis Rose Carrigan are saddened to announce her passing in hospital on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at age 80. Phyllis approached the end of her life just as she lived it; with grace, courage and humour that never faltered. She was surrounded by love in her final moments with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Ron Carrigan, with whom she shared 50 years of marriage before his passing 9 years ago.
Loving mother of Wanda Bracken (Chris), Sandra Lueck (Craig) and Scott (Shannon). Cherished Nana of Katrina and Jillian Bracken; Nathan, Rachael and Colin Lueck; and Katie, Ashley and Maggie Carrigan.
Survived by her siblings Genevieve Visutski (late Clarence), Theresa Timmins (late Reynolds), Rita Dodd (late Gilbert), Leonard Bielawski (Leona), Richard Bielawski (Carla), Ursela Desjardins (Clif Massie), Raymond Bielaskie (Maureen), and Marilyn Wollock (Mike).
Predeceased by her parents Anthony and Rose Bielaskie of Eganville, Ontario, sister Jean Haley (late Harry), and brothers Joseph (late Nettie), Dominic (Jenny), and Vincent Bielawski (Sheila). Phyllis was a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews, and she treasured the extended family of great-nieces and nephews who enriched her life.
