Pauline Rosemary Morissette passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026 after a period of declining health. While her family mourns her loss, they take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace and free from the challenges she faced in recent years.

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Pauline later moved to Calgary, Alberta, before eventually settling in Kinburn, Ontario, where she made her home.

Pauline is survived by her twin sister, Paulette Dubuc, with whom she shared a deeply close and enduring bond. Their special connection remained especially meaningful throughout their lives.

She also leaves behind her beloved partner of 43 years, Alvin Munro, who stood by her side through every season of life. Throughout her illness, he remained her constant companion and devoted caregiver, providing unwavering support and love every day.

Pauline found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved playing bingo, spending evenings playing cards, and gathering with good friends for Friday pizza nights. These moments of laughter, friendship, and companionship brought her happiness and created many cherished memories.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Renfrew Victoria Hospital and the support workers who provided compassionate care and assistance to Pauline throughout her illness. Their kindness and dedication were deeply appreciated.

A private memorial to celebrate Pauline’s life will be held at a later date.
