Passed away at Montfort Hospital, Ottawa, on Thursday, June 4, 2026, age 90 years.

He was born March 7, 1936, in Ottawa, Ontario, son of the late Oswald and Mary Elizabeth (McBurnie) Yendall.

Paul worked at Neilson Dairy for 40+ years. He was an avid race car driver for 50+ years. He was an accomplished business owner of Paul Yendall Autos, North Gower, Ontario and sold 1000’s of vehicles to friends, family and many people around the surrounding area for 70+ years.

Survived by his loving partner, Anita Redfern, and former spouse, Violet Yendall, mother of his 3 children Steven (Jen) Yendall , Brenda (Jon Frew) Yendall and Laurie (Edward) Utman. He will be deeply missed by his 5 grandchildren, Madison Craig, Sophia Yendall; Ryan, Derek Leonard and Haylee Utman.

He is survived by his brother Brian (Helen) Yendall.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Joan (Don) Martel.

Paul is also survived by his long-time best friend Graham Stephenson and family.

Paul will be deeply missed by many cousins, friends and many others who were fortunate to have crossed his path. He was thoughtful, caring and would give the shirt off his back to help anyone who needed it.

A celebration of life will be held in Paul’s honour on July 25, 2026 from 12:30 to 4:30, at Alfred Taylor Recreation Centre, 2300 Community Way, North Gower, ON. A procession parade will take place July 25 at 11:00am and leaving at 11:15am sharp, meeting at 6960 Fourth Line road, North Gower (Truck & Trailer Maintenance). Any vehicle that runs and has wheels are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Paul’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation
