Peacefully in the Palliative Care Unit of the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Care Centre on Thursday July 2, 2015 after a courageous 2 year battle with cancer at the age of 54. Beloved wife of Jon Rogers. Loving mother of David and Ben. Dear sister of Derek (Deborah) Jackson. Patricia will also be missed by her nieces, nephews and friends. Deepest gratitude to all the staff at the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Care Centre for all their care and support they provided to Patricia. The family would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to the parishioners of St. Mary's Parish, the Companions of the Cross, the Servants of the Cross, the Queenship of Mary Religious Communities and the Sisters of Charity at Elisabeth Bruyere Health Care Centre. Friends may visit at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road (at Roosevelt) on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Parish, (at Bayswater and Young Street), Ottawa on Friday, July 10 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Care Centre Foundation.
