Neeltje "Nora" Patsouris (née Wijnsema)

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 30, 2025.

Beloved wife of Evangelos Patsouris. Predeceased by her parents Lammert Wijnsema and Helena Cornelia den Haan as well as her two sisters Maria Cornelia de Wit-Wijnsema and Jacoba Aalberta Wijnsema.

Survived and deeply missed by her extended family of cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews in the Netherlands and Greece.

Nora will also be missed by her Canadian family, brought into her life by good fortune, not blood, but bound by love all the same.

Retired from the Department of Supply and Services after 24 years of service in the federal government.

Friends may visit at the Tubman Garden Chapel, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, between 18h00 and 20h00.

Mass of Christian funeral will be held at Saint Maurice Parish Church, 4 Perry Street, on January 15, 2026, at 11h00.

Interment to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Montreal Road, Ottawa.

Mass offerings or donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
