Our hearts are broken as we announce the passing of Nancy Faye Stephens-Mills at Forest Hill Long Term Care on Sunday, July 16, 2023 in her 63rd year. Nancy was deeply loved and will be forever remembered by her husband Terry of 24 years.

Nancy was born in Hawkesbury and grew up in Vankleek Hill. She is the loved and cherished daughter of Theresa Stephens and Garney Stephens (Sheila). Much loved sister of Debbie Parisien and Sandra Maley (Herb). She will be dearly missed by her mother-in-law Helen Mills; brother-in-law Gary Mills and sister-in-law Cathy Green (Barry). Nancy leaves behind many loved nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, as well as many caring and wonderful friends and neighbours.

Nancy spent most of her career employed with General Dynamics over-seeing contracts and travelling to many world destinations, gaining much respect by all her co-workers.

The family wishes to give special thanks to the staff on the 2nd floor of Forest Hill for their love and care to Nancy, as well as to the compassion and care she received by Dr. C. Foster and the nursing staff at the Queensway Carleton Hospital. A special mention to Soinise and many neighbours and friends who gave their love and help to Nancy and Terry at home. They were truly a wonderful support.

A visitation will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, Richmond on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 10 am until time of memorial service at 12 pm. followed by a celebration of life at the Richmond Legion, 6430 Ottawa Street. Those wishing may make memorial donations to the Dementia Society or St. John’s Anglican
