Nancy Isherwood

Ottawa - Nancy Isherwood, 86, passed away peacefully Monday, February 2, 2026.

She was predeceased by her husband James Isherwood.

She is survived by her son Jason, grand children Justin, Cassia and Liam, daughter-in-law Nathalie, and her brother John and niece Caroline.

Born and raised in England, beloved daughter of George and Myra Wildman, she lived in England until moving to Ottawa in the 60’s.

After moving to Ottawa with her husband Jim, Mrs. Isherwood worked at the Royal Ottawa Hospital for many years until her retirement. Her colleagues appreciated her very much and many of the people she worked with remained friends long after her retirement.

Mrs. Isherwood was an avid reader, a sport fan and loved walking in the outdoors. You could always find her and her husband walking in Andrew Haydon Park. Her great joy was spending time with her family and enjoying a great meal with her loved ones. Seeing her family and especially her son and grand children always brought out the biggest smiles from Nancy. She loved talking to us and hearing our stories of what we’ve been up to.

Mrs. Isherwood was a very likeable person who easily made friends wherever she went. She will always be remembered as a warm, kind-hearted, and loving person with a big heart who loved her family. We miss her dearly.
